I hope this club update finds you and your loved ones safe, healthy and persevering through these unprecedented times.

With that, I am glad to announce some promising news: the commencement of Ardscoil Old Boys RFC’s third season has arrived. With two trophies in our cabinet and 2020/21 fixtures on the horizon, I am delighted to share the following updates:

*Pre-Season Training Begins*
 Training commences this week on Wednesday @7pm at UL

*Club Membership*
As we begin the new season, we would like to ask for your continued support as we look to improve on our efforts last season. This is not possible without your continued membership and support. Your membership is incredibly important to us and so the club sincerely thanks you for your much-needed support.

*Save the Date - Annual Golf Classic - Friday 2nd October*
 I am delighted to announce that the club will be running its first of many annual golf classics this year taking place at the Castletroy Golf club on Friday 2nd October. I would encourage all members, families and friends of all golf standards to get involved in what promises to be a great day out with some food, drinks and prizes in the clubhouse afterwards. More details to follow shortly!

*Player Recruitment*
 As always, we welcome new players with open arms. However, these days several protocols must be observed before anyone can begin to train to ensure the safety of all players and coaches. The traditional ‘walk down the lane and jump in’ is no longer possible in the new Covid-19 & contact tracing world. Each player will have contact the club before they come to training. *Safety Update*
Our Covid-19 Health and Safety Team have set up the pitch-side with cleaning stations, spray guns and hand sanitizers to comply with the various protocols from our Return To Rugby plan.

*Club AGM - *TBC*
The Club AGM will take place later in the Summer with the date to be confirmed in the Woodfield house hotel and aligned with HSE Guidelines. More details to follow shortly!
